Source: Received as budwood from Iran, via Glen Dale & CCPP, 1979.

 

Parentage/origins: Parents unknown.

 

Rootstocks of accession: Yuma Ponderosa lemon, Citrus macrophylla

 

Season of ripeness at Riverside: Unknown at this time.

 

Notes and observations:

This accession received thermotherapy & shoot tip grafting during processing as a foreign import & new VI.

11/16/1987, EMN: Leaves broad, blunt tipped, cupped; not at all typical of true lemon. Young growth & fruit purple. Fruit is like a smallish, roundish lemon. Probably no commerical or other potential.

 

Availability: Commercially available in California through the Citrus Clonal Protection Program.
