Photos by Toni Siebert and David Karp, CVC, 5/22/2008. Photo rights. C-35 left, Carrizo right, 25 year old trees.

Source: Received by Dr. Fawcett's #44, Florida collection, 1914.

Parentage/origins:  Parents unknown

Rootstocks of accession: Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange

Season of ripeness at Riverside: January to May

Notes and observations:

One of the better grapefruit rootstocks- used as a source in rootstock trials.

3/18/1988, EMN: Smallish fruit for a grapefruit; very seedy. Foliage is different from typical grapefruit--leaves are more rounded at the apex and tend to be cupped.

Availability: Available in California through the Citrus Clonal Protection Program.
