Source: Received as seed from Ed Pollock, Parkes, New South Wales, Australia, 1954. Open pollinated seedling.

Parentage/origins: C. aurantium 'Bittersweet' x C. sinensis (unknown cultivars, maybe Sath Gudi sweet orange)

Rootstocks of accession: Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange

Season of ripeness at Riverside: January to March

Notes and observations:

PBL: It is possibly a sport of a bitter orange and Sath Gudi sweet orange. It is used as a rootstock for the Sath Gudi but is not very good because of its susceptibility to many diseases.

3/1987, EMN: Fruit appears to be a typical sour orange.

2/11/2008: TS &  DK: Hybrid of sweet and sour oranges? Fruit looks like common sour orange.

Availability: Not commercially available in California.
