Source: Received as budwood from Dr. Joe Furr, USDCS, Indio, Calif., 1968.

 

Parentage/origins: Parents unknown.

 

Rootstocks of accession: Yuma Ponderosa lemon.

 

Season of ripeness at Riverside: Unknown at this time.

 

Notes and observations:

12/2/1987, EMN: Fruit examined- a market type lemon.

 

Description from The Citrus Industry Vol. 1 (1967):

" Corpaci is a local Italian variety of interest only in the Simeni area near Siracusa.  The fruit has both a well-developed neck and nipple, is low in seed content, and matures earlier than most other varieties.  The tree is vigorous, thorny, and productive. "
